ICOFFEE policies

Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you shop with ICOFFEE.

Thank you for choosing ICOFFEE. Please read these terms before you order: they explain how ordering, delivery, returns and refunds work.

01 Scope and seller information

These terms govern use of the ICOFFEE Egypt online store and purchases made through it. Read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy, and any specific conditions clearly presented before ordering. Nothing in these documents limits mandatory consumer rights.

02 Eligibility and accounts

Purchases must be made by a person with legal capacity to contract under applicable law or through a legally authorised guardian or representative. Provide accurate information sufficient to fulfil your order, keep account access confidential, and notify us of unauthorised use.

Do not use the store for fraud, misleading orders, infringement of another person's rights, or interference with the website. Account-protection measures must be proportionate and do not remove rights relating to a valid order or money owed to you.

03 Product information and selections

Each product page identifies the essential specifications, including type, net weight, available options, and price. Review pack size, roast, grind, flavour, and additions where applicable before confirming. Your order summary identifies the products and options purchased.

A flavour description or tasting note is not necessarily an added ingredient. Review the product-specific ingredients, allergen information, and preparation and storage instructions on the product page and packaging. Contact us before use if there is a material discrepancy or uncertainty. Referring to the package label does not excuse misleading website information.

Screen settings may cause minor colour differences and packaging artwork may be updated. This does not permit us to change the agreed weight, ingredients, or essential characteristics without appropriate disclosure and your agreement where required. Legitimate natural batch variation does not excuse failure to meet advertised specifications.

04 Prices, taxes, and payment

Prices are in Egyptian pounds unless clearly stated otherwise. Displayed prices include taxes and charges legally required to be included. Delivery charges and other lawful additional costs are disclosed before confirmation. We do not add undisclosed charges after the order is placed.

Only payment methods actually offered at checkout are available. Cash on delivery is available only when presented for the relevant order and address. A payment provider may require additional verification under its procedures.

If we identify a material price or description error, we contact you to explain a lawful resolution. We do not impose a higher price or substitute product without agreement. Price changes do not retrospectively change accepted orders except as permitted by law.

05 Ordering and confirmation

Before submission, review the products, quantities, selections, address, and total and correct available fields. We send an electronic, retainable confirmation with the order details and relevant terms. Refer to that communication for whether it acknowledges receipt or confirms acceptance and fulfilment.

Supply depends on actual availability, valid order details, and delivery feasibility. If all or part of an order cannot be fulfilled, we explain the issue and available options and refund the amount due for the unfulfilled portion. We do not substitute a product, size, or flavour without agreement. Statutory rights relating to confirmation and non-performance remain unaffected.

06 Changes and cancellation

Contact info@icoffeeegypt.com with the order number and requested correction, change, or cancellation. Contacting us before dispatch makes implementation easier but does not limit statutory rights after dispatch.

For distance contracts, the statutory right to correct or amend an order within seven working days of acceptance remains available in the circumstances and manner prescribed by Egyptian law and its executive regulations, or any longer agreed period. Withdrawal and return rights apply separately. If dispatch has occurred, we explain the appropriate process and any lawful costs before action is taken.

07 Preparation and delivery

Service areas and estimated delivery periods are listed on our Shipping & Delivery page. Shipping information or your confirmation explains working days, holidays, and any agreed delivery date. The delivery charge for your address and order is displayed before confirmation.

Provide a correct address and reachable telephone number. If delivery fails because of address or contact issues, we work with you on an appropriate arrangement. Any redelivery charge must be lawful, disclosed, and agreed; no undisclosed flat penalty applies.

Using a delivery partner does not remove our obligations to you. If delivery is later than the agreed date, or has not occurred within thirty days where no date was agreed, your statutory rights to withdraw and recover the amounts and costs due remain available under the applicable conditions and deadlines.

08 Receipt and food safety

Where possible, check the products, quantities, packaging, seals, and date information when delivered. Do not consume a product that appears contaminated, expired, or unexpectedly opened; contact us for assistance. Retaining the packaging, batch number, and clear photographs helps investigation.

Inspecting or signing for delivery does not waive a claim about a hidden defect or subsequent quality issue. A request for prompt contact is intended to help resolve the matter, not to shorten statutory claim periods.

09 Withdrawal, returns, and exchanges

Change of mind: The fourteen-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase after receipt applies where covered by law, subject to statutory exceptions. Preserve the product's condition consistently with its nature and lawful return conditions.

Food-specific considerations: Withdrawal may be excluded where the product's nature, seal, or packaging makes restoration to its original condition impossible; where it is rapidly perishable; where damage is caused by the customer's handling; or where it was genuinely made to personal specifications, to the extent permitted by law. We do not automatically classify all coffee as non-returnable. Selecting a standard size, roast, or flavour does not by itself make an item bespoke.

Defective or non-conforming products: Your rights to replacement or return and refund within thirty days of receipt for a defect remain protected, together with any additional legal rights. Appropriate remedies also apply to incorrect items, damage, and products that do not match their description. Opening the package does not prevent a claim for a defect or non-conformity you did not cause.

How to request assistance: Contact info@icoffeeegypt.com or our telephone number with the order number or suitable proof of purchase and a description of the issue. Photos and batch information are helpful, but we do not require an unboxing video or one exclusive form of evidence as a condition of a statutory right. We explain collection or return arrangements and the authorised address. Do not post food products before receiving appropriate handling instructions.

10 Refunds and return costs

For a distance-purchase withdrawal, we refund the amount legally due within no more than seven days after return of the goods, using the original payment method unless a lawful alternative is agreed. For defective products, we provide the replacement or refund required by the consumer's request and applicable law, including the one-week period from contacting us where it applies.

We bear the necessary costs of remedying defective, non-conforming, or incorrectly supplied products, including applicable return costs. For change-of-mind distance returns, the customer bears shipping and return costs only to the extent permitted by law and disclosed before purchase, preserving any stronger statutory or published right to a free return. No unlawful administration fee or penalty is deducted.

Store credit is not imposed instead of a refund due without agreement. For cash payments we agree an appropriate lawful refund method. Bank or provider procedures may affect when a processed refund appears, but do not extend our legal obligation to make the refund.

11 Offers and bundles

Where offered, a promotion or bundle identifies its contents, weights, price, duration, and conditions before purchase. Any claimed saving must be genuine and verifiable. Discount codes are subject to their disclosed conditions, without removing statutory return or defect remedies.

For an eligible partial bundle return, the refund reflects the amount actually paid and any disclosed allocation of the discount, without reducing statutory rights. An ordinary purchase does not create a recurring subscription or periodic charge without separate disclosure and agreement.

12 Preparation, storage, and product statements

Follow the instructions specific to the purchased product. Protect it from moisture, contamination, and inappropriate heat and reclose the package as directed after opening. Do not assume that one preparation method applies to every coffee or that every product is compatible with every machine.

Tasting descriptions communicate product characteristics, not a guarantee of individual preference. Coffee is not offered as a treatment, guaranteed weight-loss product, or substitute for professional advice. This does not limit our responsibility for accurate ingredients and allergen information or product safety.

13 Intellectual property and reviews

Branding, content, photographs, and designs belong to their respective rights holders. Commercial copying or use requires permission or another lawful basis, without restricting lawful uses permitted by legislation.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not expose another person's personal information or contain unlawful material. Where reviews are published, we use them within the permission given, without changing their meaning or inventing verified-purchase status. Additional promotional use requires appropriate permission.

14 Responsibility and exceptional events

Our liability is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections, fraud, and food-safety liabilities. General disclaimers do not release us from supplying safe, conforming products.

Events outside reasonable control may affect performance. We communicate the impact and appropriate options, without removing legal cancellation or refund rights. An unenforceable provision applies only to the extent lawful and does not invalidate the remainder or reduce mandatory rights.

15 Complaints and applicable law

For questions or complaints, contact info@icoffeeegypt.com or +20 106 026 6662 with the order details and issue. We seek to resolve concerns and meet applicable legal deadlines. You may contact the Egyptian Consumer Protection Agency, a competent court, or another competent authority without first exhausting an internal process.

Egyptian law governs these transactions, without removing any other mandatory consumer protection that applies. These terms do not impose compulsory arbitration or waive lawful complaint and court remedies.

16 Changes and language

Changes apply to future transactions from publication and do not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing order. Keep a copy of the terms and confirmation applicable when ordering.

The terms are available in Arabic and English. For Egyptian transactions, the Arabic text is referred to where translations differ, without using a discrepancy to remove mandatory protection or a clear representation relied upon when contracting.
